How to Find Years Across AD & BC

It is extremely easy to determine the years between the AD and BC dates. Simply add the two years together and then subtract one to determine the time difference.

For example, let’s say we want to find the number of years between 105 AD and 500 BC:

  1. Add both (AD & BC) the years = 105 + 500 = 605 years
  2. Now subtract 1 from the result = 605 – 1 = 604 years
